Safety procedures and guidelines


1. No physical contact with one another.

2. Anyone who has had the following new symptoms within the last 14 days are asked to stay at home: a  cough, shortness of breath, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat or loss of taste or smell. 

3. Face masks will be provided and should be worn at all times. 

4. Disinfect hands frequently. Hand sanitizer will be provided. 

5. Avoid touching your face, 

6. Those over 60, who are in a nursing home, have a lung disease, are immunosuppressed, obese, have diabetes, or kidney or liver disease, should maintain enhanced vigilance and seek counsel of their doctors if they are permitted to attend. 

7. Seats will be set with spaces between  one another. (Members of the same household can sit together). 

8. If you have come in contact with someone who had COVID-19 in the last 14 days - even if you are not showing symptoms - please wait the 14 days before joining for a service. 

9. Those that receive honors that can be done at a distance, have the option of doing it from their seat. Honors that must be done on the stage (Bimah), it is up to the recipient to decide if they feel comfortable participating. 

10. The Torah will not be taken around for kissing.  

11. We will not be serving food other than pre-packed to-go snacks for the Break Fast after Yom Kippur.
